During the past nine years the facilities and attractions on offer at Whitehouse Farm have been constantly changing to meet our visitors needs.
Whitehouse Farm Centre is a 40 acre traditional mixed working farm with beef cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry and crops for home consumption. There is also an extensive visitor centre with a variety of pets, exotic animals, and play areas. Indoor picnic areas, toilets, and plenty of hand-washing facilities are also on site.
We have been welcoming school trips and educational visits since 1997 and can offer a variety of packages to suit schools needs on an individual basis. In 2006 we were accredited by CEVAS (countryside educational visits accreditation scheme) cementing our reputation as a safe and suitable location for school visits.

Alnwick Gardens
A Great Place to Visit
The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland is one of the most exciting contemporary gardens to be developed in the last century, a magical landscape created from a unique idea.
The Duchess of Northumberland's vision was to create a beautiful public space accessible to everyone; a garden for contemplation, fun, inspiration and education. The Alnwick Garden was officially opened in October 2002 by its patron HRH The Prince of Wales, as the first phase of development was complete. The Garden is now halfway to completion and features spectacular water displays, wonderful gardens and one of the largest tree houses in the world.
